19 victims were located and identified of child sexual abuse from February 26 to March 8, 2024. They were able to rescue 8 from this abuse and are receiving the care and help they need. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Cyber Crimes Center (C3) came together with TTF to help perform this operation to bring these victims out of this abuse and to safety. The operation had involvement of experts who looked into online cases and cold cases to identify these children.
HSI, C3, and their partners have looked at 95,567 files that contain video footage, images, and materials that helps them find locations and children who are in these abusive situations. They still have more files to go through across many countries to help provide hope for these victims.
This is just the start to identifying child abuse victims and working to rescue and provide them with the care they deserve and need.
