Julinda was filled with joy when she found out she was having a baby boy. Her joy and anticipation for her child turned into fear and worry as she found out her son, Dren, had Down syndrome. Julinda was aware of the hardships she would face raising and supporting a child with Down syndrome as she had supported families in her community who faced the same situation. Her family and friends did their best to give Dren and Julinda support but Julinda knew that they needed more specialized care.
As she held onto the Lord, Julinda found the Jonathan Center, one of the partners with the Tim Tebow Foundation. The Jonathan Center welcomed and provided the support and care for both Dren and Julinda. Dren has made progress since stepping into the Jonathan Center and Julinda is very grateful for the Lord protecting and providing for her family.
