On June 24th through June 28th, Europol held a global sprint where representatives from around the world came together to investigate materials from live streams of cold abuse. During this time, 32 investigators shared leads from the United States Homeland Security Investigations that focused on child victims in the Philippines. The representatives looked at thousands and thousands of online conversations, images, videos, criminal customer accounts and seller accounts. By investigating this material and evidence, organizations and law enforcement can take action into saving these child victims and stop future actions. The result of this sprint in June led to information on 197 buyers of live stream child abuse across 24 countries.
Investigators can take this information and use it to track and trace accounts, chats, IP addresses, and more to discover the trafficking networks and rescue more children. Live stream child abuse is growing more by the day and customers who take part in this will pay vast amounts of money. TTF will continue to take part and fight this ongoing battle and help these children in their darkest hour.
