After being abandoned by his family at night, 7 year old George was found by police and taken to TTF’s ministry partner, Ekisa Ministries. George is able to live in the home and receive medical attention and care that he needs. George struggles with autism and a seizure disorder but the staff at Ekisa was able to provide the care and continue to search for a family.
Disabilities are viewed as curses or punishments leaving many parents to abandon their kids because they can’t afford the care, don’t want to face the challenges, or don’t know how to support their child. George is one of the many children that are abandoned and left to wonder what will happen. TTF and Ekisa work to fight this issue and provide resources to help these children in these times.
