Diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2018, Slade lives out each day to the fullest, recognizing that every moment is a gift.
In October of 2021, Slade enjoyed a day with Tim which included a surprise shopping spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods, dinner and games, encouraging conversation and a jaunt on the field during the University of Mississippi vs Louisiana State University game. The greatest part, however, was when Slade put his faith in God!
