A mother clung to the Lord when she found out her newborn son was said to have “failure to thrive.” Ron and Christa were heart broken when they heard this news. They were encouraged by the Lord and a family in their church. When Heidi and Dean’s son was born, they found out he had a congenital heart defect and was going to need to undergo open heart surgery. With a massive procedure on a very young child, Heidi turned to the Lord and prayed as her son went through this procedure. She had family and friends join her in prayer for her son. During the 6 hour long surgery, Heidi and Dean cried and sought the Lord as their son was being operated on. Their son made it through with no complications. Heidi and Dean saw the Lord work in ways they have never seen before. After Christa heard this story and how the Lord worked, she continued to seek the Lord as her son also went through difficult times,
