Sarah’s community did not understand her epileptic condition and assumed she was possessed by evil spirits. Sarah experienced horrific mistreatment on a regular basis and was found along a Haitian highway where she was being chased by children and adults with rocks and sticks.
Learning of her situation, The Tim Tebow Foundation was honored to step in, integrating Sarah into a loving family via their myLIFEspeaks ministry. Dedicated to orphan care and prevention, myLIFEspeaks ensured that Sarah would be given the opportunity to experience a loving family and grow emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Today, Sarah is receiving special education at LIFE Academy and enjoys various school activities, surrounded by loving, helpful classmates. She attends church with her family and is treated kindly and patiently by a loving community. She is no longer running from those who mistreat her. She is now lovingly accepted and intentionally cared for in every way.
