Birthu, a young girl from Ethiopia, has been reunited with her family. She had a lifelong dream of going to school and receiving an education however her town did not offer this. Birthu thought she was given the chance to move to the city to work and in return she would receive the education she deeply desired. This shifted quickly as she was moved around in between homes and places as a domestic worker. This ended up leaving Birthu without an education and separated from her family which she also supported.
TTF’s ministry partner, All God’s Children International, found Birthu and took her in. They provided supplies and shelter as she started her journey to recover from what she experienced. She was able to receive counseling and guidance that supporting her family didn’t have to fall on her and she could receive an education. AGCI reunited Birthu with her family and helped them understand the providing could not be solely on Birthu.
